Industry
Consumption data for decisions on the factory floor.
We meter electricity, water, domestic hot water, thermal energy and gas by building, line and machine, bring the data into our platform or yours, and alert you when something is out of the ordinary. With that data, we draw up a savings plan with our partner engineering firm and check its results.
What’s included
From meter to data, with a single point of contact.
We design the metering scheme, install it with our own team and make sure that every reading arrives and makes sense.
- Metering
- Meters and analysers from different manufacturers. If you already have meters, we integrate them where possible.
- Remote reading
- Gateways and networks that read each device remotely and check that it is communicating.
- Platform
- History by hour, day or month; by building, line or machine; comparisons between periods and export to Excel.
- Alerts and control
- Consumption outside shift hours, leaks and equipment that stops communicating. Equipment started and stopped to match shifts, manually or with rules.
- In-house installation
- Water, electricity, gas and HVAC, carried out by our own team: a single point of contact from the meter to the data.
In the plant
What plants usually ask for.
Every plant is different. These are the most common questions.
Cost per unit produced
The energy and water cost of each unit, by line and by shift.
Consumption outside shift hours
What is still running during shutdowns, at night and at weekends.
Audit and ISO 50001
Reliable, disaggregated consumption data for the energy audit and the management system.
ESG reporting
Traceable data from each site for reporting to management and third parties.
How we work
From data to savings.
Metering is the first step. With the data from each building, line or machine, we draw up a prioritised improvement plan with our partner engineering firm, carry out the installation and control measures, and check the results with the same meters.

01
Measure
A metering plan and in-house installation, including on sites already in operation. If you already have meters, we integrate them where possible.

-
02
Analyse
A baseline and indicators per unit produced or per building, with our partner engineering firm. The platform alerts you to consumption outside shift hours, leaks and equipment that stops communicating.
Data for audits and ISO 50001
-
03
Improve
Measures prioritised by impact. Our own team carries out the installation and control measures: valves, pumps, relays and HVAC, manually or with rules based on time, temperature or consumption.
In-house installation and automation

04
Verify
Together with our partner engineering firm, we compare consumption with the baseline, measured with the same meters.
Reports by period
Integration
It integrates with what you already have.
On our platform or on yours. We read equipment from different manufacturers and bring the data into your systems by export or API.

Why metering pays
Regulation is driving metering.
Metering provides the data these regulations call for. On its own, it does not prove compliance.
- Energy audit
- Large companies must carry out an energy audit every four years (Spanish Royal Decree 56/2016), with reliable, disaggregated consumption data.
- EU Energy Efficiency Directive
- Directive (EU) 2023/1791 sets obligations according to a company’s energy consumption, not only its size.
- ISO 50001 and ISO 50006
- The energy management system and its indicators, such as kWh per unit produced, need measured, comparable data.
- Energy savings certificates
- Some efficiency measures can generate income through Spain’s CAE scheme (Royal Decree 36/2023), if they meet its requirements and are verified.
About us
Metering, installation and platform, all our own.
QSASdata, S.L., based in Ripollet (Barcelona). Our own installation team for water, electricity, gas and HVAC, our own platform, and our partner engineering firm for the analysis and the savings plan.
How we start
First, a visit to the plant.
Terms depend on each plant and on what needs to be metered. This is what usually happens.
- Visit
- A no-obligation visit. It usually takes a couple of hours, depending on the size of the plant and what there is to see.
- Proposal
- After the visit, we send you a proposal with a quote. The visit is not an energy audit: if you need one, it goes in the proposal as a separate service, with our partner engineering firm.
- Installation
- It depends on the plant. We normally do the work during a scheduled shutdown.
- What we need
- Access to the distribution boards and plant rooms, and a contact person.
- Pilot
- You can start with one line or one building before metering the whole plant. We decide this with you.
- Maintenance
- Under a separate maintenance contract, tailored to each plant.
Request an initial assessment.
We usually start with a no-obligation visit to your site. We look at your utility supplies, your meters and what you want to achieve, and send you a proposal with a quote.
